Hydro-seeding
Not sold on typical solutions for erosion control? Neither are we!

We didn't come up with hydro-seeding but we changed the way its done! Instead of using short-lived, weakly rooted Eurasian turf grasses, we use biodiverse mixtures of perennial native wildflowers and native warm-season grasses that belong there! Mixtures vary depending on site but we always use locally sourced native seed. We're talking up to 6 feet of carbon locking, nutrient sequestering roots and stunning blooms all season. That space will also serve as an invaluable resource to native wildlife and pollinators. There is no better solution!
New Home Sites
We love assisting landowners in making ecological decisions off the jump when building new homes. We believe the goal should be to ensure the property hold the same or more ecological value than it did before development. Building homes on wild land, diverting the water to next property, and replacing the plant community with ornamental Eurasian species is the direct cause to the decline in native wildlife and pollinator species. We can provide an actual long-term solution for erosion control that doesn't come at the cost of degrading the ecosystem.

What's in the mix?
Our hydro-seed mix consists of water, native seed and cellulose mulch. Cellulose mulch made of ground up plant material and wood chips that aid in protecting and sticking the seed to the soil until it germinates. We do not use any chemicals or fertilizers typically used by others who provide this service. Native seed mix is based on soil moister, light availability and preexisting plant community.
